The Australian Republic Movement (ARM) is a form of the revolution, it was founded on July 7, 1991. The first chairman was novelist Thomas Keneally, the Movement gathered some high profiles as Mr. Malcolm Turnbull (now he is Prime Minister, leader Liberals, a conservative party, the most members are not interesting the Republic), former cricket captain Ian Chappell, film maker Fred Schepsisi, a journalist and author Peter FitzSimons. The famous persons couldn’t convince the people, but the Movement is like the most organization, obviously, the public figure pioneers could attract the people. Nowadays, the pop singer, movie star, athlete, author, academic…they couldn’t drive the public following their tendency as a French saying quotes” Le Mouton de Panurge”. The US election 2016 is a lesson, the presidential candidate Hillary Clinton couldn’t get the people vote despite the famous persons helped in the campaign, the concerts couldn’t convince the voters but the policy is the key in the poll.

However, the Australian Republic Movement should be a conspiracy of the politicians or some groups, lobbies. Mostly they have no plan and the method being controversial between the Republicans. Whatever, the Australia is independent, freedom and democracy since the nation founded, therefore the Australian Republic Movement without method is like change a dress. On the other hand, the Australian Republic Movement causes the country divided. The revolution with the method is like a driver car has no map.
