NBN IS THE ROTTEN SYSTEM OF COMMUNICATION IN AUSTRALIA
NBN (National Broadband Network) is Australian government-owned corporation, it established on April 9, 2009, under the era of Labor Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Obviously, Senator Stephen Conroy is the first Communication Minister was in charge the NBN and after Coalition returned government, Mr. Malcolm Turnbull (Now Prime Minister) continued while he held Minister of Communication. Therefore, NBN cost $AUD 56 billion of taxpayers, but its system has been rotten plus the red tape’s administration and bureaucratic management, those conducting the NBN are the worst of services in the country. Nevertheless, NBN forced the user to surrender the old system land wire of Telstra (it is the government corporation) and the Router replaces household phone line, internet (if internet interrupted, the phone home couldn’t use). If the internet interrupted, the user couldn’t call, including the emergency. It is an inconvenience of NBN, the NBN’s technology needs to solve this problem as soon as possible.
NBN expect as the new technological communication of Australia, but the US, Europe, and even New Zealand had the broadband network at least a decade. Nevertheless, NBN faces many problems about services, speeding, so last year, Telstra compensated 42,000 customers and Optus compensated 8,700 customers. Moreover, NBN’s administration is the red tape and irresponsibility. I (writer) speak out the red tape of the running Kangaroo’s administration system in Australia. Almost the government administration is a bureaucratic and heavy formality despite the people live in the 21st century, the high technology reduces the unnecessary administrative formality. Therefore, the Australian government and private section still keep the old way in the office works. It reason causes the Australian traces behind Europe and the US, even Singapore, and New Zealand. My story is a circumstance of the Down Under’s administration:
On January 30, 2018, I saw an NBN box located outlet of council land damaged, the concrete lid broke, the wires pulling out, everyone couldn’t touch, it is the technician’s job. It is the property of NBN (also belongs to the government). Nevertheless, this NBN box links many telephone lines in the era, if the wires broke, the region will lose the phone and internet, the damages couldn’t account if someone needs the phone for an emergency as a hospital, inform the criminal activity… It is the public interest and also the neighborhood watch of police’s scheme. I rang police number 131 444, they advised seeking a police station. I came to local police station and reported with a photo showing the damages that could affect many houses in the era. Police received my report but they advised to contact NBN, it is NBN property as the police concern. I think it is the criminal activity as a thief intrudes the house, robbery… moreover, NBN is government’s asset, why did police have no action and investigate? The police force in Western Australia or Australia may overhaul the responsibility in duty if someone discovers a vandal attacks a property and inform the police, but police advise to see property owner, it is not police’s authority. What does police do?
I reported NBN with a reference number is 02376050 and I also rang them on number 1800 687 626 at 9 am January 30, 2018. Obviously, a female official agrees to fix, but I have to provide the photo showing the damages. I sent a photo as a requirement and also received a letter from Mr. Scott who committed to fixing the damages as soon as possible. However, after then, I received an email of Sooraij on the same day:
“Hello Hoa,
Thank you again for your enquiry to nbn, in regards to reference number 02376050.

We hope your issue will be resolved very soon.
We recorded your feedback and we have now closed this case, however if you require further information, please reply to this email directly or call us on 1800 OUR NBN (1800 687 626), quoting the above reference number and a consultant will be happy to assist you.

Telstra is no longer operating the telephone line after NBN set the era. A representative of Swam is Mr. Steve Iron and NBN sent letters to the household from mid-year 2017. Therefore, NBN official Rose, actually Sooraij wrote” now closed this case”. What is going on while the case does not solve yet. It is within 24 hours, the case hurriedly closed. I believe the NBN officials don’t know how to do the job.
When a building collapsed, the owner claims insurance, but insurance passed to council’s responsibility and later Council advises contact to the Aboriginal Land Council and ultimately an Aboriginal Land Council will pass to God…this irresponsible circle is like my report to police a vandal, police passed to NBN and NBN passed to Telstra…I don’t know what to do, where to go…it is the Aussie’s administration, the system and manner carry the heavy red tape and irresponsibility, actually, NBN is the rotten communication’s corporation, the government owns.
I feel disappointed and angry, I filled the complaint to Communication Ombudsman and got reference number: 2018/01/20385, but I have not received yet any solution despite the problem is emergency, it links to the public interest. I also emailed to Minister of Communication and now I have no choice to speak out the Kangaroo Running’s administration of Australian government and private section. Kangaroo running that means the people don’t know where the Kangaroo runs…it is like the administration of Australia, the Lucky Country but bad luck people while the red tape makes the country lags behind the US, Europe, Singapore…
I also received an email below from NBN:
“Hello Hoa,

We apologise for any confusion caused and appreciate how frustrating this must have been for you.

If you require further information, please reply to this email directly or call us on 1800 OUR NBN (1800 687 626), quoting the above reference number and a consultant will be happy to assist you.

Linda”
I don’t know what NBN official service, two letters are different, what is going on? I do the right thing for a concerned person if I know something wrongs as a terrorist or suspicious objects, I report to police or national security hotline, but if they do the same solution as police and NBN. I don’t want to criticize everyone, therefore, there is just a case that tests and proves Australia’s administration is negative and contains too much red tape. I feel good because I help government and public interest, but I disappoint the heavy bureaucratic system and the irresponsibility of office works./.
