Despite, Long Tan is no longer attend at Vietnam, but a Memorial located in Keven Wheelahan Garden at Sunshine in Melbourne’s West has been smashed by a hammer on the wall listed the names of the soldiers. This memorial opened on December 2017 to pay the tribute for 512 Australians sacrificed in Vietnam War, it was an early war fighting against Vietcong terror and total Global Communist Bloc led by Soviet-Union and China. Therefore, in the Vietnam War, the leftists left media plus the undercover communist activists distorted the war to protect the freedom and democracy for South Vietnam people. SunShine RSL branch is going to mark the Battle of Long Tan in this weekend, Mr. President RSL Garry Collins said:” I’m quite shocked actually, I think it’s sad”. Brimbank Council condemned the vandal, Mayor Margaret Guidice said:” This senseless vandalism is disrespectful to their memory and our community who rallied to support the creation of this memorial”
Long Tan’s battle left over the chronicle woe of Vietcong, the human wave’s tactic of Mao Tse Tung failed in Korea War, Điện Biên Phủ’s battle and actually, Vietnam War, Vietcong lost more than 1,500,000 troops and now still 300,000 missing, so every year, they anger while seeing Long Tan’s anniversary../.
