The Army of Republic Vietnam (ARVN) was considered as the strongest force in South East Asia, it was founded since 1954, after Geneva Convention signed by Vietnam communist plus the master Soviet Union, China with France delegation. According to the convention confirmed, Vietnam divided into two parts: North Vietnam dominated by the dictatorial communist regime and the South Vietnam managed by the democratic government. However, after the Geneva convention, the North Vietnamese communist obeyed the order from its great master Soviet Union and China, so the Vietnam war was created by the communist’s ambition. 4- Air force: every army corps has one air force division located at the military airports.
5- The armor had a tank brigade for each army corps with tank M-41, M-113 and later had model M-48 provided by the US.
-Navy had strong coast guard ships and the river had the fighting boats.
6-The artillery: each division has an artillery battalion with the howitzer 105, 155 and 175, supporting the battlefields into the territory.
Exclusive the civilian self-defense force for every hamlet and region in city, the numerous fighters reached multiple million, mostly the weapon using from the second world war as the carbine, Garant, Thompson…but they could fight well and self-defend the territory.

-The ARVN had not potential fighting: they still had enough ammunition at least a year, despite the president Nguyen Van Thieu raised the fake lacking of ammunition after the Paris treaty signed on January 27, 1973. Therefore, the president Nguyen Van Thieu acted like a double agent, he destroyed the 1st Army Corps by the unclear and unmilitary orders, he also dispensed the good fight Airborne division and Marine Corps, all disabled. So his destructive orders helped Vietcong occupied the south Vietnam’s territory so quickly, plus the surrender order of General Duong Van Minh on April 30, 1975, if not, the Vietcong had faced the potential damages as the Tet offensive 1968.
In the world military history, there is no such strong army as the South Vietnam lost within 55 days, there is not any strong army survives if the highest commander wants to disband and surrender. The Vietnamese communist didn’t win the war as they propagandized, even though the Ameri-Cong didn’t win the war as a book title of author Roger Canfield…but the south Vietnam lost by president Nguyen Van Thieu, now after 39 years, end of the Vietnam war, people have recognized president Thieu who is the Vietnamese’s national criminal, he couldn’t escape the history judgement.
